Pressure Washing with Low Pressure
Last month we received a call from a nice customer in Fredonia that has had some issues with serious organic growth on the outside of their house. They were concerned because they initially had attempted to remove this themselves with their own pressure washer. The problem they were having was when they were using the pressure washer they were having to apply very high pressure to remove the mold and algae and this was causing the siding to buckle and dent in a few spots and leaving wand marks. Luckily they realized the best way to handle this is to have a company with professional equipment come out and clean it.
As you can see in the photo below, this was years possibly decades of caked on growth and removing with high pressure and water is unfortunately not the best way to clean this. Being in Southeastern WI, Fredonia is highly susceptible to algae and organic growth.
We took a low pressure non damaging solution to the siding and then followed it up with a rinse from one of our dedicated pumps equivalent to the pressure of a garden hose.
The end result is a much cleaner exterior, a longer lasting clean, and all the risk associated with high pressure is eliminated.
Much of the front of the house was covered in algae and after we soft washed the home they could not believe the results.
Comparing the images you can not only see that all of the organic growth has been completely removed but also the siding and trim appear much whiter and brighter. The end result almost looks like brand new siding.

When the customer mailed us a check they had a small note attached that we displayed on our facebook page. This was so touching and gave us such a great feeling of pride in our work!
